Why tourists like the Feodosia Museum of Money

Plan to view the exhibits for at least an hour. You will be taken on an excursion where you will learn about the origin and evolution of money, hear the story of the mint that existed in the ancient Cafe – this was the name of Feodosia in the 10-15th centuries.

In 1810, it was here that the first Russian collection of 12 gold, 1004 silver and 1042 copper coins was laid. And today you can see the only coin in the world – the tetrobol, which dates back to the 4th century BC. It is a micro coin that is no larger than a pinhead. In addition, the Museum of Money contains a US $ 1 billion bill issued in 2001.
