What to do if on vacation you want to see all the sights of the peninsula at once, but you can’t grasp the immensity? We must go to the Yevpatoria park “Crimea in miniature”. There, a generalized version of the excursion route has been created: 45 of the most important sights are combined into one exhibition.
The museum is open-air and looks more like an observation deck. You can get around it in about an hour. You will be “transported” to Yalta, Feodosia, Mishor, Sudak, Bakhchisarai and Sevastopol, having examined in one fell swoop the famous Crimean palaces and other interesting places of the Crimea.

It is curious that the exhibition travels to other cities. So, in the year of the reunification of the peninsula with Russia, all the best miniatures were presented at the exhibition “I love you, Crimea …” in St. Petersburg.

History of Museum Complex “Crimea in Miniature
The Evpatoria Museum Complex “Crimea in Miniature” is not a pilot project. Similar parks were previously opened in Alushta and Bakhchisarai. Evpatoria decided to “adopt” this idea in 2013. And they paid off: on the opening day alone, more than seven thousand guests came to the park.
A distinctive feature of the Evpatoria park is magical lighting. As many as 100,001 light bulbs did not regret it. Many tourists come here in the evening.

What to see
Like a bird’s eye view, you can see masterfully made models of attractions on a scale of 1:25.
In the Evpatoria zone, you will see the asymmetrical villa “Sphinx”, created in the neo-Greek style. In fact, this building in the resort has been preserved and is located on Duvanovskaya street. See the Juma Jami Mosque, the Egia Kapay Synagogue, the Local History Museum and the Alpine Rose Summer Cottage.

The atmosphere of Yalta is recreated by an “inflorescence” of 7 objects. There is a “visiting” card of the Crimea – the layout of the “Swallow’s Nest”. The collection is complemented by luxurious palaces – Livadiyskiy, Massandrovskiy and Vorontsovskiy. Among the original miniatures are the Yasnaya Polyana castle, the Foros Church of the Resurrection of Christ and the Chekhov house-museum.

Recreated in the park “Crimea in miniature” and other unique objects: the Bakhchisarai palace of the khans, the Sevastopol monument to the sunken ships, the Count’s pier, the misty bell in Chersonesos, the Genoese fortress in Sudak.
Park “Crimea in miniature” at different times of the year
The open-air museum is especially comfortable to spend time in the summer. The exhibits are in the shade of trees, between convenient park paths.
In spring, when there is no heat and crowds of tourists, tourists often come to Evpatoria for this mega-excursion: a trip to different Crimean attractions in one place.
In autumn and winter, the Yevpatoria park “Crimea in miniatures” is open to everyone. The observation decks are well-groomed, and the Crimean weather allows you to walk for a long time.

Evpatoria park “Crimea in miniature” is a dream of hunters for rare shots. This place is just made for photo shoots. Excellent pictures are obtained against the background of the “Swallow’s Nest”, the Grafskaya pier, the Misty Bell of Chersonesos. We are talking about both panoramic photos, which professional photographers love so much, and selfies.
Many pictures will receive signatures like “Gulliver in the mini-republic of Crimea” or “Big man – a great voyage across the Crimea.” The photo session will be successful even for amateurs and will leave excellent shots in memory of the peninsula.
