
An amazing place and one of the most unusual sights of the Black Sea coast is the Old Park cultural center, founded in Kabardinka back in 2000. The park got its name thanks to the miniatures of architecture of different countries and peoples recreated on its territory. This place has literally turned from a wasteland into the “center of all civilizations.”
Having crossed the “threshold” of the park, first of all you will be transported to the 4th century BC, in the days of antiquity. Then you will plunge into the civilization of Egypt, where you will see copies of the famous sphinx and the pyramid of Cheops – by the way, you can even enter it. In the very heart of the park there are images of a medieval city. Go to the Orthodox chapel, relax in the Japanese corner, look into the House of the Caucasus or the theater. Get ready, the journey will be long, but very exciting.


Interesting Facts about Old Park in Kabardinka
- Most residents of Kabardinka know the founder of the “Old Park” personally – Alexander Alekseev was born here in the village. He is a journalist by profession, but most of his life he studied the culture, customs and traditions of various countries.
- This place is unique in that in one walk you can see copies of 32 architectural masterpieces, and, thus, learn about the seven eras of world culture.
- The park contains not only works of art, but also more than a thousand exotic plants from all over the world. Thanks to the mild southern climate, they can be enjoyed all year round.
- The cultural center “Old Park” in Kabardinka is constantly updated, so each visit of tourists is not like the previous one.




What to see
“Old Park” is not just a beautiful square, but a real center of cultures. Therefore, to visit all the objects, get acquainted with the local flora, study architecture, you will definitely need several hours. If you want to additionally visit the theater of the “Old Park”, then half a day of the cultural program is provided for you. Each corner of the park is a separate attraction.

Temple of Zeus
The first thing that visitors will meet on their way is the antique pavilion. The Greek civilization erected similar structures for its gods. Therefore, the sculptures of Aphrodite and Galatea decorating the entrance are not accidental. The portico above the oak door is crowned with the image of the goddess of victory Nike, and in the center of the temple is the figure of the Thunderer Zeus. Next to the pavilion of antiquity, there is a small rotunda where you can admire the Roman fountain.

Japanese corner
At the bottom of the park – Japan in miniature. There is a chapel here, where everyone who comes can make a wish by washing with clean water from a natural source near the sculpture of the god of luck Ebisu.


House of the Caucasus
When visiting the park, tourists are advised to look into the House of the Peoples of the Caucasus. This is not just another architectural building, it is a full-fledged museum. Weapons, chain mail, old faded photographs, books – antiques will help you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the life of the Caucasian peoples.

Theatre
Since 2017, a theater has been operating in the park. It was built according to the canons of ancient amphitheaters. The stage is designed for live performance and is designed in such a way that every spectator in the hall, designed for 150 seats, sees and hears the artists. As a rule, musical performances, organ and jazz concerts, illusion shows and performances are held here. The poster is scheduled for several months in advance, so before going to the park it is better to familiarize yourself with the theater program in advance.

Aqueduct
It is picturesque here in any season, be it summer or winter. Although, first of all, this arched structure is of practical importance. The fact is that aqueducts used to be used to supply water to settlements. Here it is the center of the entire engineering system, which provides a tropical climate in the lower part of the park. It is here that dozens of exotic plants grow, for which drought is destructive. By the way, the building is decorated with underwater lighting – after sunset, it creates a magical atmosphere.
